WAPI Member Warren Levicoff has been engaged in New Orleans providing armed security for the Phone Companies, whose engineers have been targeted by Looters.
Warren commented
I think I did pretty well for an old man. 16 hour days carrying a 10 lb rifle & equipment in the heat and humidity and then 3 more hrs on the computer keeping my business running.
The first paycheck came in today - making me feel a whole lot less tired!!
Enclosed photo was taken September 5th 2005 at Decatur and St. Louis Streets. in the New Orleans French Quarter. Bourbon Street is behind me 2 blocks. We were working for a(cellular) phone company, as their linemen, tower climbers and power crews were being shot at by the local idiots as they were trying to get the system up and running. We were there to convince the shooters that this was not a good idea.
