Ray Ashton was a mariner and yacht master for a period of 10 years and a member of the British Police Service for a period of 12 years. The latter 10 years in the capacity of Detective. During this period he was a member of the CID, attached to the Anti-Terrorist Squad and seconded to No. 3 Regional Crime Squad.
Since leaving the force, he has with his team been engaged in world-wide land based investigation, marine investigation, surveying and adjusting.
