• Cargo Tracing and Investigations Service
• CKM Security Consultants offers a cargo tracing and recovery service throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. We have experienced Associate Consultants resident in Germany, France, Holland and the British Isles who are able to provide this service throughout Europe. This service will demonstrate to shippers and customers that every effort is being taken to protect their freight and ensure delivery specifications are complied with, thus maintaining a good relationship with those customers.
• In the event of any loss a concise report will be presented detailing the circumstances and identifying those with the responsibility for having care and control of the freight at the time of its loss. Documentation will be recovered showing the progress of the freight from shipper to consignee. Full detail of the freight itself will be established together with evidence of its value. This information will be of importance to any insurance claim or future litigation.
• Site Security Surveys
• Full security surveys can be conducted on all industrial, office and warehouse premises. This will include an advisory service as to all aspects of physical security systems, including closed circuit television, intruder alarms, perimeter controls and manned guarding services.
• High Value Cargo Supervision
• Following a rise in the number of reported criminal attacks on heavy goods vehicles carrying valuable products and in particular computer equipment and mobile telephones, CKM Security Consultants offers a goods vehicle escort service. Double manned unmarked escort vehicles are used to 'shadow' the goods vehicle from origin to destination. The escort vehicles are equipped with radio and telephone communication together with video equipment and satellite tracking.
• Cargo Inspection and Surveys
• CKM Security Consultants provides a cargo damage inspection service. In the event of notification being received of damage caused to freight while in transit, the damage will be immediately inspected. Every effort will then be made to establish the extent, and circumstances that caused the damage. Documentary evidence and photographs will be obtained in order to support or refute any later claim.
• Site Visits and Warehouse Inspections
• CKM Security Consultants is able to visit and inspect listed warehouses in order to establish that occupants and employees are conforming to the provisions of the Aviation and Maritime Security Regulations.
